The Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering Study Program at UI holds its lectures in a series of Smart Class Rooms equipped with digital teaching tools, supporting interactive teaching methods as well as class recording for online learning needs and reusable course materials.
This classroom is equipped with flexible individual desks and three front-facing monitor screens to support multi-display material presentation. The room layout supports two-way interaction between lecturers and students in medium-sized class groups.
This large-capacity classroom is used for lectures and examinations involving larger numbers of students, equipped with a blackboard at the front as well as natural lighting from windows on both sides of the room.
This classroom has a more intimate format with desks arranged facing a large monitor screen, suitable for discussion classes, assignment presentations, and small-capacity class sessions.
The corridor of the Smart Class Room building features an information board explaining the smart classroom's technology infrastructure, covering cloud connectivity, interactive boards, screen-sharing features, and automatic class recording linked to the learning management system (LMS).
